DAVID martino
David Martino has a Ph.D. in clinical-developmental psychology and has worked as a clinical psychologist, teacher, husband and dad (the last two jobs by far the most difficult). He has been an invited pundit in regional newspapers and on radio and television, and was once a guest expert on the nationally-syndicated (and now thankfully-cancelled) Jenny Jones Show (an experience which left him feeling sad and dirty). He has published children’s books, song lyrics, I.Q. test items, and an article in the sadly-defunct Journal of Polymorphous Perversity.
Two of his original full-length plays and some of his shorter theater pieces have been produced and performed in regional theaters. For over twenty years, he has written sketch comedy, monologues, spoof songs, and poems for an ongoing live variety show, which he describes as, “Like SNL, but funny.” Currently he’s working on writing his own obituary.
